What To Expect

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 and we meet at City Academy, Norwich, NR4 7LPWe offer Children’s Ministry from 2 yrs through 14 years of age and have a Bring & Share meal right after service on the 4th Sunday of each month.

We start our service with worship through song. The atmosphere is casual but reverent as we seek to worship the God who made us, loves us and saved us. After worship, we take a short break to greet one another and to meet new friends. This also gives time for the children to get to Sunday school and for the rest of us to get a cup of tea or fresh gourmet coffee!

We then worship through hearing and receiving the word of God as we listen to a verse by verse study in the Scriptures. We do not 'pass a plate' but we do have a collection box on the Ushers Table for those who desire to worship though giving.

From [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
(Ephesians 4:16)

What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible, as it was originally penned, is the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative word of God and that God has kept His word through various manuscripts and translations for the benefit of His people.

  • We believe in the sovereignty of God but not to the point that it does away with the responsibility of man; and the responsibility of man but not to the point of open theism.

  • We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Holy Trinity, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead and to establish God's kingdom of righteousness and peace on the earth.

  • We believe in the depravity of man.  Man, in his essential being, and by choice is sinful and incapable of meriting God's favour.

  • We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in the Person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

  • We believe in the perpetuity & practice of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and that the gifts of the Spirit are essential to fulfil Christ's purpose for His Church when used in accordance to 1 Corinthians 12-14.

  • We believe that the Church exists to worship God, edify itself in love, and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.

  • We believe in the sufficiency of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit to supply us with all things that pertain to life and godliness.

  • We believe in the rapture of the church and the visible, pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth.
