Our Vision & Mission
of Servant's Church
Our vision is to see a Jesus-modelling and Spirit-led church community thrive under the authority of God’s Word.
“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." Matthew 20:26
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
Being and making disciples!
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19–20
As a gospel centred church, we will preach and serve God by building relationships, meeting spiritual needs and equipping the body to demonstrate hope and restoration through the power of Jesus. We do this as a team-led church grounded in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit to disciple one another, build community, raise leaders, plant churches and engage in outreach to show God's love to the world by loving each other.
“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
“So Christ himself gave... the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” Ephesians 4:11-12
What Defines Us? (see principles below)
Principle
Biblical Authority
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:17
Expression
The Bible is our highest authority. We preach it verse by verse, book by book, believing that all of God’s power to change hearts and equip believers resides in His Word. At times, we also engage in topical preaching to address specific needs and themes, yet always with the same goal- to faithfully proclaim the truth of Scripture and magnify Christ.
Servant’s Church is committed to living out these principles with integrity, humility, and faithfulness to Christ.
